An online lecture series will be conducted on STEAM-Based Curriculum Development for Early Childhood Education. The preparation of weekly plans, daily plans, and lesson plans related to the first semester of early childhood education will be discussed in the lecture series. Teaching methods for implementing these activities, as well as how they can be adapted as STEAM-based activities, will also be covered.
Educators from Sri Lanka, as well as international lecturers, will conduct sessions for teachers in the global community. Not only early childhood development teachers but also parents and other stakeholders will benefit from this lecture series.
Live Lectures Schedule:
- Monday (09:30 PM – 11:00 PM): Curriculum Designing for Early Childhood Education
- Wednesday (07:00 PM – 08:30 PM): Best Practices in Curriculum Development and Lesson Plans
- Thusday (07:00 PM – 08:30 PM): STEAM Implementation in Early Childhood Curriculum
- Friday (07:00 PM – 08:30 PM): Implementation of Modern Teaching Methods in Classroom Activities
Teachers who complete the lecture series, assignments, and the final examination will be awarded an Advanced Diploma in STEAM Education (Level 03).
