NVQ Level 04

Teachers who work in the early childhood education sector need professional qualifications to get registration at the preschool unit or pre-school authority in the department of education in the relevant province. Registration of the teacher is an essential requirement in Sri Lanka.

National vocational qualification (NVQ) level 4 is the basic professional qualification to register as an ECCD teacher.

In the COVID period, an online lecture series was conducted free of charge to ECCD teachers in the western province by Mr. Janaka Kamalgoda, President SAIA4ECCD.

All lectures will be published here. Teachers who have worked for more than 4 years can apply for the NVQ Level 4 examination directly. It is called the recognition of prior learning (RPL) system. for them, and all untrained teachers can get the whole knowledge relevant to the NVQ level 4 curriculum through this lecture series.

This is a totally free video series; learn from it and try to do your best for children who will make the world beautiful in the future.
