Live Presentations series parallel to the International Conference on Quality Early Childhood Care and Development

Introduction

International Conference Series on Quality Early Childhood Care and Development is organized by the South Asian International Association For Early Childhood Care and Development (SAIA4ECCD) with the hosting partnership of Kunwar’s Global School and many more education institutes and organizations in the global society.  

The objective of the international summit is to establish a robust system of exchanging educational practices related to early childhood education among the ECCD teachers in South Asian countries and work together to improve the quality of early childhood education to Achieve SDGs 4.2. 

Parallel to the conference series Live presentation series is being conducted to share knowledge and best practices of the educators to uplift the quality of Early childhood care and development. 

All presentations will be uploaded to the official youtube channel of the SAIA4ECCD and shared with social media. Interviewers will get a certificate for their contribution to exchanging knowledge on early childhood care and development.

Objectives:

  • Introduce the latest research findings and new strategies to uplift the quality of ECCD.
  •  sharing best practices to upgrade the quality of the early childhood care and development sector.
  • Capacity building of the ECCD Educators by empowering Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, and Mindset (K-SAM) and 21st-century skills. 
  • Build up networkers among the professionals in the ECCD sector in the South Asian region.
  • Make connectivity among the ECCD educators/professionals in South Asian countries to enhance the quality of ECCD education. 
  • Enhance the opportunities to Implement and participate in collaboration projects in South Asian countries to upgrade the quality of ECCD 
  • Enhance the capacity of professionals of the ECCD sector towards “Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)” and “Greening Education”.
  • ECCD Awards for the service rendered by the ECCD teachers/Educators/Professionals in South Asian countries to improve the quality of ECCD.
  • ECCD Awards for Best ECCD Centers on the basis of performance and quality. 

Eligibility : 

    • ECCD Teachers – ECCD Teachers who need to upgrade their competencies, who need to make networks with ECCD Teachers in South Asian countries, and who need to share their best practices with global communities.
    • To ECCD Center owners/ Principals in the South Asian region as well as all other countries who need to upgrade their knowledge, make networks, share best practices and upgrade new strategies to enhance the quality of ECCD centers. 
    • To educators in the field of Early childhood education – Lecturers and teacher educators in the field of ECCD in the South Asian region 
    • Teacher supervisors, Curriculum Developers, Education Administrators, Policy Makers, and academic leaders related to ECCD  in South Asian Countries as well as a global society.  
    • Primary Teachers, Vice Principals, Principals, and Educators in Primary Sector (K1 – K5) in Global Society.
    • Parents and other stakeholders who are interested in quality early childhood care and development for the Global Society.

  • Live Presentations are conducted only on weekdays from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. 
  • You must mention a convenient date and time for the live presentation on the registration form.

    Oral Presentation

    Live Physical Presentation

    • Presenters will get opportunity to do presentations at the international conference which is schedule to be held on 18th – 20th June 2022 at the Colombo, Sri Lanka 

    Live Zoom Discussions/ Presentation

    • Opportunity to do a Live Zoom Discussions/ Presentation Prior to the Conference. 
    • For the Live discussion Presenters can participate live discussion with Program host of the conference.  
    • for the Presentations Each Presenter will get 15 Minutes for their Presentation and 05 Minutes for Q&A Session.

    Pre Recorded Video Option

    • This Option is for the virtual Participants who would like to Record the Presentation and upload to SAIA4ECCD official YouTube Chanel. 
    • The Presenter should record the 20 Minutes Video Presentation and send it to us. (The Video should be 20 minutes or lesser.)
    • Presentations are evaluated by Evaluation committee
    • Best Presenters will be awarded with “Best International Virtual Presenter on Subject Area”
    • Best virtual Presenters will be invited for awarding ceremony which is scheduled to be held on 20th June 2022 at Colombo , Sri Lanka.

    Poster Presentation

    • Each Poster will be displayed at the Conference.
    • Posters should be JPG Image to be displayed at the conference. 
    • All Posters will be uploaded on the Conference Website before the conference for all the participants to download or go through it.

    Abstract Guidelines
    To facilitate the submission process and the subsequent follow-up process, please consider the following guidelines, information, tips, terms, and deadlines mentioned.

    ABSTRACT

    An abstract is a single paragraph, without subheadings, indentation or references. It should be an explicit summary of your presentation that states the problem, the objectives, the methods used, and the major results and conclusions. It should be single-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman. Do not include bullets or lists in the abstract. If there is a need to cite references, please provide the sources in brackets.
    The first part of your abstract should state the problem or issue you set out to solve and explain your rationale for pursuing the research. The purpose of your study is to solve this problem and/or add to your discipline’s understanding of the issue. Your abstract should also describe the research methods. Next, your abstract should indicates the results or outcomes of the work you have done so far. Finally, your abstract should close with a statement of the project’s implications and contributions to its field. The content of the abstract will be the basis for acceptance of paper presentation at the international research conference. The abstracts will be peer-reviewed and authors will be informed about acceptance for presentation via email. Be sure to adhere to the word limitation for the abstract (175 -275 words). The abstract should be submitted in the format of MS Word (.doc or .docx) document. Keywords should be given leaving one-line space below this text.
